❷ So much for that resolution! But Bozo, that wooden cigar box is a collector’s item today, and perfect for saving many things.

❸ That’s destruction of public property, flatfoot. Somebody call a cop!

2 – Two men with a disagreement get pwned by Bozo.

…and then the dawn came..Bozo kept his resolution….after a few bangs and whams!

Bozo has an uncanny knack of being at the right place at the right time….good timing when it come to making a fast buck….OY!

What ever he did this time sure angered the copper…run, Bozo, run!

1. Close but no cigar?

2. Hocked habiliments.

3. Out of reach.

1) Bozo gets rid of all his cigars but then unwittingly falls back into his habit.

2) Regardless of who wins the fight, Bozo is the big winner after leaving Uncle Benny’s!

3) Bozo, don’t stop to give the cop a chance to find a longer stick!

RESOLUTION- Bozo is like a new person, not smelling of smoke, giving away his old stogies, but like any old habit, it only takes a second or a friend to put you back on the bad habit. BUSINESS GENIUS- Ah these Blokes want to shed their duds and settle an argument, Bozo obliges, find your duds at Uncle Benny’s. LONG REACH OF THE LAW- Old Button’s Black Jack just does not give him the reach that a 1X4 fence board can.

1. Oh no. Me is smokes again!

2. Bozo not leave opportunity to make quick bucks.

3. Law on full o-fence-ive.

Some splendidly done panel arrangements and artworks in today’s strips. FoXo such master cartoonist that he not need character to say single word ever, only his delightful drawings enough to do the job!

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

Habit. Hock it. Hoof it. I smoke cigars and my dentist keeps challenging me to stop. Maybe next year.

Everyone who reads this strip knows the three globes mean a pawn shop. Also, the guy in the bow tie looks related to Moon Mullins. Anyone besides me hoping GoComics will rerun Moon Mullins?

1. Bozo tries to kick the habit and ends up just kicking. :)

1. Back in 1947, no real reason to give up cigars…. other than saving money…. or perhaps, to switch to the far more tasty pipes and pipe tobaccos. So, for most in 1947, the New Year’s Resolution would not stick.

2. Violence is a d*mn costly pursuit. No one needs to be violent. Bozo is simply helping the fellows to learn that valuable lesson.

3. The “long arm of the law” still needed some additional, longer assistance.

1) TEMPTATION: Bozo resolves to end smoking cigars and was doing fine till a good Samaritan gives him one. Bozo is livid and goes after him!

2) PREDITERMENED FUNERAL: 2 big men getting ready for a street fight. Bozo takes the discards of clothes and proceeds to sell them!

3) RELENTLESS: Blue coat chasing Bozo with Billy club out. He loses it then tears off a board from the fence and starts the case again!
