Unparalleled wits, unparalleled artworks, unparalleled skills, undoubtedly a master cartoonist is the Fabulous FoXo who is unfortunately mostly unsung!

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so beautifully and brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

Love leverage. Horizontal squatter. Pram cram. After a while it seems that all kids want to drive and parents are riding angry.

FOR SERVICE RENDERED- Ah our Hero showed no fear when the Friendly Neighborhood Thief came a calling. Everyone won, Bozann found her hero, Thief gets some loot, and Bozo gets a snuggle hug. COMFORT AT COST- Ah, the old gag of “WHAT’S UP THERE?” then when they look take their seats. SITTIN BUT NOT A LIKING- Hey if that Brat is happy and quiet pushing sit back and enjoy it.

For service rendered: I had the equivalent of that while hiking recently when we encountered a rattlesnake on our path. The reflexive/desperate hug was welcome but alas too brief. The snake, hearing our footsteps, just glided off into the brush.

Comics is primarily a medium of artwork. Yes it can use words but primarily it use artwork as medium of expression for otherwise it be just a texts story with supporting images.

And it no mere feat to make comics which use only artwork and artwork alone with no characters needing to say a single word.

In all the three strips above, carefully notes the facial expressions and body languages of all characters. Both in foreground as well as background. You can easily see and feels what is going on without needing any effort.

His artwork and artwork alone was all he needed to tell his funny tales. What are these if not a masterpiece of a master cartoonist?

You will finy many talented cartoonists. But where else has you seen one who excels excellently in both great humour as well as presenting his humour with great artwork?

Above is one of many evidence that FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits as well as artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist.

And therefore it no wonder that even after seven decades later BOZO still comes like a fresh fragrant breeze still bringing big smiles to faces across the world.

2. At least once Hildy started barking out the front door so that Lindy would get out of my wife’s lap to investigate – then ran back to claim it.

1) YOUR MONEY OR…: Bozo and Bozann are at home when a double armed crook enters and demands cash. He gets it!

2) LOOK OVER HERE: Brainy Bozo fools a group on a bench he wants by simply looking intently up a tree. Eventually all the people crowd around looking up while Bozo gets his bench seat!

3) LITTLE DISCOMFORT: Bawling baby is a bother to Bozo who finally calms the tot by riding in the pram the child is quietly happy!
