    1/ Oh, the quarters I’ve wasted….

2/ All you need is someone to write a concerto for violin and jackhammer.

3/ The world’s first anti-aircraft kite. Alexander G. Bell would be impressed. (Bell experimented with military applications for kites for the Army.)

    1. Hey lemme play Pinball ya pinheads!

    2. Well cacophony is sold as music these days.

    3. Well at least it not Boeing plane eh.

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so beautifully and brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning!

BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! More about FoXo and BOZO in the About page.

So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many many more!

And of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer, the brilliantly beautiful and beautifully brilliant BOZO!

And yes of course many thankses to Micheal Reardon for bringing BOZO back for us all!

1 – Gottlieb’s “Humpty Dumpty”, introduced in 1947, was the first game to add player-controlled flippers to keep the ball in play longer. The low-power flippers required three pairs around the playfield to get the ball to the top.

“Triple Action” was the first game to feature just two flippers at the bottom of the playfield. Unlike in modern machines, the flippers faced outwards. These flippers were made more powerful by the addition of a DC (direct current) power supply.

The first game to feature the familiar dual-inward-facing-flipper design was Gottlieb’s “Just 21”, released in January 1950. However, the flippers were rather far apart to allow for a turret ball shooter at the bottom center of the playfield. Another 1950 Gottlieb game, “Spot Bowler”, was the first with inward-facing flippers placed close together.

2 – If only we could have got Gisele MacKenzie for the role of “jackhammerer”.

1 Bozo don’t need to see the ball or flippers, don’t need no buzzers or bells. He always plays by instinct, plays by sense of smell. Either that or he needs a box to stand on. (Pinball Wizard — Elton John)

2 Early fan of heavy metal. (Hit The Road Jack — Ray Charles)

3 Kite string jammed Bozo’s propeller and snapped the rubber band motor. (Let’s Go Fly A Kite — Mary Poppins)

    1) Truely a gambling device. Pinball without flippers. Horizontal Pachinko? I really liked the mechanical machines. Very lethargic in comparison.

    2) One man’s symphony is another man’s jackhammer.

    3) The report will say Pilot Error. Whether the aeroplane’s or the drone’s (of its time) may spread the blame in their much less regulated air space.

The Down And Out strip could happen. I was sitting behind the pilots of our survey aircraft as we approached a small landing strip near Cairo, when I heard this discomforting conversation: “You keep an eye on that kite, while I watch that camel. Is that a cement block on the runway?”

Mr. Umbrella Man: 1st strip. Ah canno seum. It was supposed to be a Gallic accent. I have a strong feeling that I failed miserably.

But, as for the Barkeep. Is he handing out Ice Cream cones?

2nd Strip: Again, Ah ca’ nah seeum.

Another attempt a the ol’ Gallic thing. No better than the first one I imagine.

    3rd strip: 3rd panel.

The umbrellaster is running away from it all. He doesn’t want to be blamed for another plane crash (remember all of his attempts at flying).
