1) You’re the manager, you earn enough money. You don’t get tips.

1 – For 1950, $5 a night seems like at least an above average hotel room rate? After all that, getting pinched for not having the dough to pay a $5 hotel bill might have been a bit bigger laugh, at least for my two cents ; )

In first strip observes the doorman. He happy when he gets big tip as Bozo enter. He no cares and turns nose up when Bozo kicked out. Fabulous FoXo brilliantly captures hoomin nature.

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so beautifully and brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

“Always a gentleman” – I love this art . Everything about it conveys a windy day . Foxo Reardon , the Master artist at work .

Fuzzy uses the $5 that Bozo gave him to rent a scooter, but alas, the wind blows it out from under him.

1) Bozo is a very heavy tipper, but forgot to have enough left over for the bill!

2) Just give me a ring when my clothes are ready!

3) My, you’re a tall drink of water, aren’t you?

The first strip brings up a point, leave a tip for the hardworking housekeeping staff at a hotel. I make sure I have a couple five dollar bills with me when we travel.

ALL TIPS- I know I have been there, more money for show and not for bills. CAN’T WAIT- Clothes in the cleaners, use your Union Suit for styling and profiling. ALWAYS A GENTLEMAN- That hat made the lady tall and thin…and Bozo confused.

Everyone at Hotel Swank loves it when Bozo checks in, except the bookkeeper. He’s throwing around $5 tips like they’re $1 tips :)

Bozo may have been booted from the hotel but he proves in the last panel that it doesn’t cost anything to be courteous. :)
