Around 25 years ago, I found $77 in the lobby of my apartment building. It was lying on the ground, folded up; I guess it fell out of or got pulled out of someone’s pocket. I’d have been happy to conduct an honest search for the rightful owner, if only someone could have told me how to do that.
On the other hand, more recently I found a wallet in the lobby of the building where I now live. Since it contained identification, I was able to return it to the owner with no trouble at all.
and on a totally different subject, once again today we’re required to manually click forward to today’s strips because yesterday’s strips are loading instead of today’s. what a convenient feature…
