I used to work in my Dad’s store, back in the time when there WAS nickel candy. Even the voracious high-schoolers wouldn’t buy more than two or three. Coke (drink) was highly prized, either cherry or lemon.
Not enough for burnout.
What do you call a dozen Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? About 14 too many.
That stuff is nasty. I can’t imagine why anybody would ingest it intentionally.

Last time I looked (admittedly 3 or 4 years ago) full size candy bars were over $2.00 each so $20 wasn’t gonna buy many.
candy makers keep reducing the size of their treats and we just keep on paying for the ever-shrinking wares…
