If you save that $20 instead, you will immediately become a millionaire according to people who don’t like people who aren’t rich.

With the price of candy bars, they would be lucky to buy 7.

The formerly one-pound bag of “snack size” or smaller chocolate is 9 ounces or less now, sometimes odd numbers, like 7.4 oz… and goes on “sale” in the $3.50 range, but they’ll use another odd number to confuse us.

It’s still cheaper than buying full size candy bars, but I don’t know whether kids realize that.

They’ll probably go to the gas station and pay three times the price.

It might be good if they get less for the money, though, cos no matter what, they’ll blow through 20 bucks worth in one afternoon.

They might be sick and sorry… but tomorrow they’ll be looking for more.

I am reminded of the issue on The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers in which the amazing hirsute trio found “a year’s supply” of cocaine, and moved to the country. Lasted them a bit under 2 weeks, if memory serves…….

    - deposit it in a boring, conservative bank

    - invent a time machine

    - go forward 500 years

    - discover that, through the miracle of compound interest, they have…

    - nothing because the bank charges fees on small accounts and the money evaporated.

It would only be lifetime supply if they never ate them. Do they not like them to begin with? I, in fact, don’t care for them, but I certainly don’t dislike them enough not to eat them if I had a supply right in front of me!

This would provide a lifetime supply if it made you never want another in this lifetime.

(I suspect it might take more than $30.)

In my case, it would, but only since I stopped eating them once I found out that the company doesn’t use completely ethical cocoa, or so I’m told.
