I’m also questioning the same thing, Garfield
It’s a nice looking one too.
Why were you even standing underneath said chandelier, Garfield, before Odie spooked you?
Now.
Garfield’s not doing his own rendition, of Sia’s song Chandlier now, is he ?
In the 5th panel Odie may have been walking away nonchalantly but underneath he was chalant AF. Just say’n.
I love the first panel!
Odie’s revenge for all the times Garfield pushed him off the table.
Odie for the win…
Chandelier or not – you light up my life!
Coincidence you were right under it, too.
Title card, it is said doing something right after eating a big meal will make you sleepy.
What prize does Odie win, at the Carnival ?
Hammerspace is not only for hammers.
Rodney and Del-boy put it up…….

Jon’s going to love the destruction. (Snark!)
Considering Odie wagging his tail, it must’ve been recent for that moment alone!
Odie has major wag once Garfield hits the swag
Odie’s revenge.
A creek but no crash? Who does the sound effects here?
Two Thumbs UP for Odie finally getting back at Garfield.
I have a better question: why do you have one?
That was a pretty cool magic trick.
I was wondering the same thing
Reminds me of an old Chuck Jones Looney Tunes cartoon with Claude the Cat and a no-named puppy.
When you weren’t looking, Garfield.
Would love to see a guest appearance here by Bucky from the Get Fuzzy strip. And maybe bring in Bill The Cat to mediate.
When’s the last time we’ve seen Odie frighten Garfield just by sneaking up behind him and barking loudly?
Turn about fair play because of all the times Garfield has done things to Odie.
it was specially made for this occasion as Odie’s personal revenge.
To answer your question: Just in time for the March 19 Sunday strip.
Doesn’t matter now.
a zoned out cat leaping into the stratosphere when the other pet interacts with him is one of the most accurate cat like things I’ve seen Garfield do
Gotcha!
I love it when Odie barks at an unexpected Garfield. LOL
Sing it with me: The Phaaaaaaantom of the Comic Strip is here, inside your mind!
“Let there be (a) light…and there was a chandelier.”
Score five for the dogs… for having a bark worse than its bite. Good boy, Odie! I love to see a good, old-fashioned jump scare.
I think it should be crystal clear when they got that chandelier.
One of the funniest things a cat does is jump straight up on all fours (for Garfield two legs!). Only have seen a few times.
Odie’s SOOOOO proud of himself.
Odie will pay dearly for that
It’s a woman’s touch.
Thanks Jim, kicker frame very funny, well worth the build-up…
Well played, Odie.
LOL :)
Most likely a door to door chandelier salesman who convinced Jon to add elegance to their house.
GOOD ONE ODIE!!
That’s right, Odie. You get back at Garfield.
LOL
