I hit more structures in real golf than I do in mini-golf.

Ducks aren’t structures, but one time I hit a duck that was swimming in the middle of a lake behind me. He looked more confused than anything else. So did the other ducks — they quacked and swam away from him while looking suspiciously over their shoulders. You’d think he’d have been safe BEHIND the tee box, but back then I could shank-slice a ball just as badly as a pro couldn’t.

The first time I played mini-golf was when I was 18. I swung the way the golfers do…when they are on a golf-course. The guys I was with thought it was hilarious. I wanted the ground to swallow me whole. That was my one and only time playing.

When being taught how to putt (at work on lunch break) I succeeded in denting the copier (rented) and the new blueprint printer with the same ball on the same shot. I have been banned from the Putt Putt Golf Courses in Bethany Beach Delaware

I love mini-golf but the little kids need little plastic putters. Watched some pro golf today (not something we usually do). Who ever designed that last few holes has a devious mind.

Never been good at mini-golf. I did have a date take me to play while in college – the last guy I dated other than (before) my husband – it did not go well – the playing or the date.

On the other hand – while still dating my husband (we dated for something like 4 years before we got engaged, were same for 2 years before getting married) we went to one of the big name hotels in the Catskills for a week. He brought his golf clubs – understand he has never otherwise gone to play golf since I know him (from the early 1970s) but it was included with our stay. We played the 9 hole course – somehow we missed one of the holes along the way. Not the most exciting game of golf ever played I am sure.
