Neighbor Bob just likes to mess with you.

One is named Patty and the other’s a wiener.

Hamburgers were invented in Hamburger, New York. I don’t know about Frankfurters.

Neighbor Bob’s friends remained silent. That conversation was a real nothingburger.

I would avoid anyone from Frankfurt. Such wieners. To be frank they’re the wurst. Nothing but brats.

Hamburger and Frankfurt is visiting their school friend Oscar Meyers, who they think is a bunch of bologna, but not as bad as their rival Sanders who was a chicken.

That hamburger is a kind of loosey goosey guy, whereas that frankfurter guy is too tightly wrapped!

That’s why everyone else has a lot more fun than I do.

And a Berliner’s a jelly doughnut or something…

If Bob eat Hamburger then do it make him cannibal?

Does Pig know that frankfurters frequently incorporate pork?

Actually they have German names but reside in the Sandwich Islands!

Pig was having fun thinking that Neighbor Bob was conversing with his lunch. He has a low threshold for fun.

That’s the homelands of some of our favorite foods.

He could also be talking to a Sandwich, namely John Montagu.

So his friend from Hamburg is male. If they were female they’d be a Hamburgerin (or Hamburgian in English).

Sorry, today’s strip got me curious is to if those were the proper demonyms for those cities. Don’t know why, but it just did. Didn’t find out about different male and female demonyms for Frankfurt, but didn’t look too deeply either.

Ignorance is not bliss, Pig. Learning is always better than remaining ignorant. (Hint, hint.)

Often the case, sadly, but still worth it. So wonderful to know about things like the Mandelbrot set, Mobius band, Hoag’s object, the Barrel eye fish, the Tully monster…
