As a home inspector I should know the difference between the 2 but as they get more modern and built in and stacked and digital controls, I find myself getting the flashlight and looking at the connections to figure which is what. I check the back on every inspection but I used to not be surprised to find out which one is the make wet one and which one makes dry.
My Late Aunt bought stacked washer dryer. Fine for clothes but way to small for blankets, spreads and such. She did not think that move through as she didn’t drive to use laundry mat.
Well, if you put the detergent in the dryer with your clothes they may smell better. Call it a pre pre-soak. Can’t speak for putting dryer sheets in the washing machine.
Its been a while, for our Brutus. I wouldn’t of thought his family could afford a side entry washer and dryer. Cheaper top loads are obviously washers.
On occasion, my husband does the laundry. Since we share a laundry room with three other units, I have to write down instructions on which buttons to push, and where the dials should be. I don’t mind, though, because I’m always happy that someone else is doing it. I despise any form of house work!

My washing machine is on the right. This house is half backwards.

I don’t understand it. The clothes came out warm and fluffy, but they’re still dirty. Maybe we should call a technician.

That pretty much solidifies the fact that he’s never done this before, but there must something in that basket he wants washed right now.

How long before Gladys tells him that the laundry is on the first floor and not in the basement.

The door hinge location is usually a clue. The washer hinge is on the left and the dryer is on the right to facilitate moving the clothes across.

Save time! Do a load in each machine and then switch when they’re done.

Could be a ploy to have her insist that he not do the laundry, but that’s probably clueless Ben.
