The little brother would love this house. I collect teddy bears (and friends of theirs – other types of bears, Cabbage Patch Kids, Itsy Bitsy Beans… but over 90% are Teddy bears or bear related). They have their own room (smallest of the 3 bedrooms) and are on the bed, wall shelves, large metal shelving unit (about 4 feet long and just below the ceiling), shelves, bookshelves, the floor etc. In the upstairs hall outside their room is “The Teddy Village” which has all sorts of bear figurines, very small toy bears, etc.
The Village started one year when I decided I had too many bear ornaments on the Christmas tree. We had bought a new tree that year and I realized the top “little tree section” of the the old one would make a good small Christmas tree to split some duplicateish/related bear ornaments off of the main tree onto one in the upstairs hall. This grew to a Christmas Village populated by bears. One year in March when we finally decided it was time to take down the village for the year I had the idea to change the village monthly/seasonally instead – the musician bears who played music for caroling could play in the park in the summer (which now has a gazebo – a bird feeder which looked like one). For November they have Pilgrim/Indian reenactors come to visit (ceramic set I painted years ago). The original/main section is on a wicker box at the top of the stairs. A “pond area” was added on a small plastic parson’s table (left from apartment years) and later a hill area (skiing and sledding in Dec/childrens swings and slide in summer) and “Silver bears” (seniors) booth next to them which sells hot beverages in cold weather and vice versa (another bird feeder). Church, municipal building, honey store, produce store, medical center, apothocary, and a log cabin Chinese restaurant (run by pandas). Residential section most recent added and has houses and playground. Even have a bear driving a beer truck.

I want a couch like that. My couch would beat me up something awful if I tried to do that.
