They’re reverse laughing at him because he’s not a huge tall guy cramped in a very small car. At least he’s not waiting for Skinner to give him “Steamed Hams”.
I don’t see Hummers on the road much anymore, probably because they guzzle gas. These days, the Compensation Vehicle is gonna be a lifted, oversized pickup truck, usually with pristine chrome and paint so you can tell it’s never actually hauled or towed anything in its existence.
Yup, big fancy-Nancy cars are to make up for a man’s mmm, how to say this? Ah here’s the word “inadequacies”. So to guns. Not only do guns display a mans insufficiencies , they can also be used to protect him from the monsters in his closet!

Direct hit, Ruben. Love it.
Next outing, include the bozo “truck nuts” lovers, too.
Whups, being redundant — exact same crowd. Never mind! : )

So instead he buys a bunch of AR-15s. Hate Hummers, but maybe we were better off.

I always wondered about the name choice.

Interestingly, the Brazilian slang term: “pinto” means: “an undersized – um – unit.”
This goes far towards explaining why Ford had difficulty selling the Pinto there in the 70’s . . .
“Olha o Pinto dirigindo o Pinto”
(“Look at the Pinto driving the Pinto”)
Chevrolet had their problems in Spanish-speaking countries with their “Nova” – which sounds like: “It doesn’t go.”
This was back in the days when Marketing Vice Presidents were the (otherwise unemployed) sons-in-law of the CEOs.
Evidently they now work for political candidates.
Astonishingly, the most popular book in the 70’s business world was, I kid you not, “The Peter Principle.”
Crikey, is everything a “dick thing”?
