Poncho refuses to be sentimental…

Surprise ending!

Too bad Droolia didn’t appear…

So long, chumps.

Now you wonder, why didn’t Dorothy think of that? Well, she didn’t want to abandon her new friends so quickly. She was not selfish like Poncho. She wanted to see them all rewarded by the Wizard, which was actually my favorite touching scene in the movie.

Perhaps, in the book and movie, the Wicked Witch’s broomstick is cursed and cannot leave the land of Oz.

What a great story arc.

Hey. it’s that rare beast: a 4-act movie. Gotta wrap this up by tomorrow, so some sequences get cut.

Why didn’t Dorothy do that?

I hope there is a surprise coming. I’m not ready for this story to end.
