I don’t recall ever seeing Casper’s secret origin before!

Casper is not have a bussin day.

Do a web search on Casper & Richie Rich – was Richie offed by his parents for the insurance money and became Casper? Very much the same character.

I remember this gag from a blackout sketch on a TV show — might have been MADtv. The caption on the screen reads, “What Casper the Friendly Boy is Doing Right Now,” and we see the smiling kid, happily skipping down the street, waving and calling to everyone. Then — we hear the screech of the car’s brakes and other accident-related sounds.
