    That wrong interpretation of the thing. Nothing can never be in two different states simultaneously. It just represent a probability, like either it will be heads or it will be tails. It will never be both heads and tails simultaneously.

    Unfortunately I think the actual thought experiment involved the cat being dead and not dead at the same time, until he was observed. Not quite as much fun for the cat, who’s either dead or stuck inside a box until someone observes him.

    Count me among those who miss the point of the “theory”. Whether the cat in the box is alive or dead or somewhere in between is an objective fact. The subjective uncertainties on the part of an “observer” are totally irrelevant.
