That look is actually very good on Spud.

Plenty of ‘mature’ folks with Velcro shoes. Perhaps too many. I keep my pants too long to cover them. Even while sitting.

That cane looks like it’d be much too long for Spud anyway.

I love the idea that Wallace’s actual father wears nothing like the getup that Spud has on (nor does he talk the way Spud does here) and yet Spud and Wallace seem to think this is a reasonable approximation of a father.

Velcro? Should’ve gone with “grandfather” …
