He’s selling them to Komix Korner? A retail store will pay him nothing even approaching the collectors’ market value. Why doesn’t he try selling them on E-bay first? Oh right, because we have to get more Comic Book John and Crazy Harry episodes into the strip. Hilarity will ensue!
Gee, I wonder which comic book shop they’ll be taking them to? I do so hope it’s the one we haven’t seen since last week!
Why didn’t Batiuk simply retitle the strip “Komix Korner Featuring Ed Crankshaft” when it switched distributors? It worked for the Golden Age Daredevil and the Little Wise Guys.
The comic book (and comics in general, for that matter) has been becoming more and more adult and rotated and less and less willing to keep it okay-for-fsmilies since the 1970’s. I do not understand associating the comic book with kids that young when the industry has such a problem with keeping the comic book the staple of childhood that it was originally meant to be.
Scrufty McBeardo is evil and insincere, the kid is the distractor. Both hatch a plan to throw the ‘BOOKS’ in the river, off the bridge. Jfffff is no longer all bright and smiley.

If the kids take them to the shop1) The comics will never get to the shop2) The kids will abscond with the profits if they do sell them.
