When I’m in Europe, I find that the people know New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Even Boston is an enigma to them (though they’ve heard of Harvard University). I just say I’m from New York, which establishes that I live near the east coast, and leave it at that.
I loved growing up in Greater Cleveland (though I don’t think I’d want to live there now.) Great pizza, Ghoulardi, rivers that occasionally caught fire, all the cool stuff.

I remember touring BYU in Hawaii, with a student guide, a junior. He had never heard of Connecticut!! Now that’s what I remember about BYU!

Only Browns fans claim Cleveland. I was born in Dayton, which is even more obscure, and lean toward the Bengals.

I’ve been to Barcelona. I’ve not been to Cleveland. But maybe I should, just to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
