    Really? The main trouble kids seem to have with algebra is the adding/subtracting/doing math stuff with LETTERS.

    You need to know the working order first, then it gets less complicated, but for some still difficult, sort of like balancing a check book.

    If X is the number of stupid tests, and Y is the number of tests failed, then solve for the amount of hope being crushed in math class.

    Did fine with basic maths, stumbled on algebra, used some plane geometry in later projects, never even in the neighborhood of calculus or other higher maths. Always felt the same way I do when I hear someone speaking in a language other than American/English – just kinda wish I could and sorry I can’t.
