They are in fact divorcing. The most amazing thing to me is that they’ve tolerated each other for so long. They WERE political people… and they were Republican. He, however realized how awful the orange mistake was and she went to work for him.
I’m mildly surprised by this; I’m somewhat skeptical that it has much to do with #45. I always assumed they were playing a game to ensure they kept a foot on both sides of the Republican divide. After all, the Lincoln Project turned out to be, frankly, a scam to raise money from Democratic voters to benefit people who were absolutely committed Bush Republicans – not really defenders of truth, justice, and the American way!
Both Conways were Republican operatives trying to wrest control back from #45, who stepped into a template the “establishment” Republicans thought they owned, and ran with it.
I remember seeing George at a reunion (he’s a college classmate of mine) right when he was starting to get known for his anti-#45 tweets, and several of my more politically active classmates who knew him told me he couldn’t be trusted. I’m sorry for their kids, but I don’t have a lot of sympathy for them.
@Lyman ElliottI could be incorrect but from what I hear and read I would suggest Jesus, even if called upon or referenced, is not part of their religious beliefs… mainly the old god who smote any and every human/nonhuman/woman/slave who did not bow to his orders or those of his substitutes [men]. I always have wondered how a god who was so vicious, violent, warlike, bullying in the flip of a page could turn into a “divine” being who wanted to save the world by having his son killed by the very people he abused for a long long time.
Aren’t they the ones where their daughter called them out on the internet for both being a$$holes who are mostly faking their political takes for fame?

You mean that the intense sex appeal of physical attraction and mind numbing lust wasn’t sustainable?
