Arlo, you get yourself in trouble when you start acting smug because you think you have the upper hand. Janis just drops her cards on the table and, at least today, you’re out in the rain.

All my tools live in my garage. Except for a screwdriver/hammer combination that lives in a kitchen junk drawer and a Gerber multi-tool (an industrial grade Swiss Army knife) that’s in my desk.

If the tools are in the GARAGE, why is he running them into the house? Unless the garage roof leaks like Niagra Falls … Oops, AROUND the garage NOT around IN the garage — My bad!

Outside of the garage?? Or the garage has leaking roof or no garage door?

A place for everything and everything in its place.

It’s annoying to spend 2 hours looking for a tool that you need for a 5 minute job.

I really relate. My wife is always watching the radar, as if she’s the weather woman and is responsible for reporting latest conditions on the TV. It’s charming, really.

Lately…this ‘toon has gotten boring!

The weather website will sometimes say…”Rain (or snow) ending in 12 minutes.” An example of the difference between precise and accurate.

I hear some places in Florida, it rains at the same time every day.

Or perhaps she wants him to bring them in the house to make some repairs there.

Arlo would have picked up his tools at the same time.
