Some of those signs are sure menaces. Especially those digital traffic advisories with more than one screen in the message.

We have those road signs over the freeway that the DOT uses to put out alerts and warnings and when there isn’t one they just put up some cute little thing. My favorite was

“Why are you looking up here? Watch the road!”

That’s almost like having a low-hanging sign that says, “DANGER! LOW-HANGING SIGN!”

How effective are the digital billboards? They change before I have a chance to read them.

These digital billboards are a bad idea, and they just don’t seem to get the message.

Lawyers would make the type juuuuuuust small enough to be hard to read, to create more accidents for them to profit from.

Good luck not having an accident while trying to read this sign!

This is the reason why, in most jurisdictions, it is illegal to tack up your little garage sale sign, lost dog notice or other “graffiti” on traffic sign posts. Bring your own post.
