But the dog is pleased.. bringing back two balls deserves two treats.

The dog confused “You wanna take a walk?” with “You wanna take a walker?”.

Better or worse than coming back with a wooden crutch?

Prior to knee surgery, I was in a thrift store buying a walker, and as I limped up to the counter to pay for it, a guy nearby said “Getting knee surgery?” Turned out we were both getting it on the same day at the same place. (Curious irrelevancy: In Britain walkers are called zimmers. I don’t know if that’s from a brand name, or how it came to be.)

The owner will be on the ground so most likely he’ll get caned by the lost walker’s friend!!
