I’ve got the photos, it’s the only way to make money out of politics without being a politician.

When I was much younger a group of people wanted me to run for Congress. I thanked them but was emphatic that I was honest and declined their offer. Now, considering how many members retire as 1%’rs, I probably made a very bad decision!

Republicans HATE getting money out of politics.

Money spent to elect legislators results in tax cuts for the wealthy — the ones who inject money into politics. For investments of millions of dollars, they receive billions in tax cuts and other preferential treatment.

The Republican Base somehow believes that these tax cuts for the wealthy benefit them personally.

Money in politics ruins our system of checks and balances, wealthy corporate donors control legislation and politicians by funding campaigns for or against them, at the expense of environment and social equality.
