Has the Wizard’s home ever been shown to have a deck before today?

I can almost see Tim Taylor in the last panel.

Patio stones last far longer than even the toughest decking boards.

But, Karen’s dead. Unless he meant her brother.

Wiz, don’t you have magic to take care of this?

He’s only just begun.

I rather pay more money to get it done right than save a few bucks to do it wrong.

Deck picks, in my morning newspaper? It’s more likely than you think!

Since when they have a deck?

Can’t you replace it magically, Wiz?

Why not zap one up, Wiz?

The wand should do the trick

I have never seen a husband jump like that to do a household chore or repair.

Code was developed because everything at Home Depot can be snapped together like LEGOs.

He’ll probably call that outfit run by carpenter ants.

Never have fully understood what the Wizard can conjure up with his wand and what he can’t. Apparently, he can’t conjure up a new deck.

We had our above-garage deck replaced. At one point, my cat and I came out the front door of the house and the stairs to the ground level had been removed. My cat turned and gave me such a look . I would occasionally play little pranks on my cat. She was certain this was one of the less humorous. It took some time to convince her I was not involved. :)

With confusion on his face, he asked, “Don’t you trust me?”

With absolute certainty in her voice she responded, “I trust you to be yourself.”

You know it’s a work of fiction because no husband ever sprang into action that quickly with merely a project suggestion.

Can’t the wiz just cast a spell and fix it?
