Nothing like a nice softy couch is there Earl.

And you’re a blooming idiot.

plenty of fertilizer

Earl’s been planted there long enough to put down roots.

“Items at rest tend to stay at rest” sure applies here!

Sometimes when Earl ‘blooms’, he clears the room!

And his personal “pot” keeps expanding, as a result.

He is a blooming nuisance.

At least until bedtime, when he’ll plant himself in his bed!

Bloom where you’re planted = be wonderful where you are instead of dreams of moving away. (After all, ya gonna keep ‘em down on the farm after they’ve seen Paree’?) i.e. – “There’s no place like home.” Although no local openings for a prophet, a prophet is without honor there.

I tell people I believe in grampas in action. Little do they know that I mean grampa’s inaction!

I don’t think he understands the meaning of “BLOOMING”

Well, at least Earl isn’t “pushing daisies”. Yet.

That reminds me I could eat a Blooming Onion .

Hopefully something will bloom where I am eventually planted.

Well, son, let’s talk about flowers. We’re known as stamen. On the other hand, girls are the stigma, which is a riddle wrapped inside a mystery inside an enigma. We will discuss that when your 15, or so.
