Let’s hope that tree wasn’t going to be a silver maple. Such trashy trees. Yip yip yip yip yip

Always get a big laugh at the city dwellers that move to the country and complain about the wildlife that “invade their property”. They are USUALLY the same one’s that want to ban hunting.

We have that problem here in our rural community. Someone complained about horse poop on the road and wondered why the riders weren’t required to clean it up. I love the smell of fresh horse poop in the morning.

Bambi has now been listed a danger to the health of humans. There are way too many of them. ( ticks, diseases, destruction of habitat) too bad al the AR owner don’t learn how to hunt deer instead of school kids.

Plant another. You’ll only need to add another ten years to your plan.

You’ll notice that there isn’t another tree in sight.   Starving deer ate all the seedlings.

Our neighborhood needs a Bambi-style deer drive.   It shouldn’t be terribly expensive; the beaters who herd the deer into a kill zone could be paid in venison.

What we get are “deer reduction” hunts that faithfully follow rules that were written to make sure there are plenty of deer.

Funniest line in my entire gardening book: “Yucca are seldom browsed by deer.” Ya think?
