You could always try starting a new trend. Not that it would do any good, but you could try.

When would that have been? Congress has always been a place where a conscience was particularly difficult to follow, and the penalty for those who did was always harsh. Davey Crockett found that out when he went against the powerful way back in the 1830s.

Those must have been some very very very very very very very very very very very very old days…

Maybe you could get a transplant.

You have two choices in politics when voting. Do the right thing for the benefit of most of the people OR get re-elected because you successfully raised the needed funds.

Rarely in the 21st century do the two objectives seem to coincide. I am not a big fan of Liz Cheney’s politics but her stance toward the FGOP is a rarity.

You have a conscience – learn to listen to it and do the right thing!

Things lacking in government today, are conscience and ethics.

The days of honest politicians where they would stay bought once they were paid for.

Consciences have never been black-and-white and money colors them with a palette of greed.

However, voting with my wallet is more lucrative…..

Most pols let their interns do all the work so they can be unconscience…

Have they ever ever had them? Isn’t having a conscience ( and ethics) and being a politician an oxymoron?
