So I’m guessing Craig is Daphne’s stalker, and at least Daphne would rather be with Nate than her stalker.

I’m feeling like this might be another Daisy story, though I could definitely be wrong.

Personally, I think Daphne just wanted to be alone here. She likely just said Nate’s name since he was right there, and wanted Craig to go away. Looking at her expression, it seems to be that way.

Craig’s earworm just became “Shot Down In Flames”.

Interesting. The boy isn’t her brother but someone Daphne wants to avoid to have around. Whether he’s a stalker or someone who makes her uncomfortable because she likes him, it’s important that she feels safe having Nate around.

lol, one thing you can always say about big nate is that the expressions will always be great. pierce is great at drawing facial expressions

So the complainers who say this strip is predictable, where have they been lately? This whole storyline has been wonderful. Not a word from them…I guess that’s predictable.

Y’know, now that I think about it, we haven’t had a strip this year about Nate being afraid of ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ.

What a relief. I was positive we were about to get a swift end to the storyline.

Also, the name “Craig” is triggering my Vanoss crew PTSD.

Something tells me Nate’s into Something Good! (Sing along!)

Nate and Daphne would make a great couple. She would steer him in the right direction education-wise, and he would make sure she takes time to have fun. Opposites often make good couples.

Also, it’s nice Nate likes Daphne for her inner self, not her outer self. She could be pretty if she cared to be, but he’s going for substance over style, not that she can’t have both (one can be both a Daphne AND a Velma!)

Daphne doesn’t like Nate, he just happened to be the first one she thought about and it’s only going to get awkward from here

Plot twist: Daphne wasn’t saving it for Nate

That last panel is too good XD Daphne’s face of utter panic and Nate practicing his flirting XD Classic stuff!

It’s interesting to see Daphne’s reaction to Craig, especially since during the time I posed this comment 27/4/23, we still don’t know what her problem with him is! It’s a good plot device to get her and Nate to spend time tho!

8/10, a good joke AND a good progression? Pierce bringing his A game suddenly!
