When I was a teen… I lived in an area that the schools looked like a prison. The walls were slanted so you could not lean against them. There was a gate to get in and out. And there was a six foot high fence that went around the entire school. But! At the same time… we had a Teachers Strike. They would take anyone to be in the classroom. And I mean ANYONE! My “English Teacher” had us copy out of the spare text books in the room. My “Science Teacher” taught more about Transcendental Philosophy than anything. And “Physical Education” was someone who sat on the bench reading repeating the phrase, “Just do a couple of laps.” The whole situation made me wonder why so many people disliked children!

“For adult education, nothing beats children.”
