Three beautiful floofs! My newest cat is a ten-year-old orange girl with long hair, a bushy tail, and a big ruff around her neck. She is quite floofy. Her year-old daughter, whom I also adopted, has short and sleek and thick fur, which is a darker orange. They are both delightful.
They remind me of when we first moved here. We lived with his cousins for six months. All the girl cats were fluffy: their two MaineCoons and my DLH mutt Honor. I miss Honor.
somewhat o/t, I recently read on youtube about a homeless but very perceptive (purrceptive?) cat who came into a small fish store, put down the dried leaf it had carried in, and waited. The storeowner was baffled, but not for long: when the penny dropped for him, he thought the cat might be emulating human behavior that he (the cat was a tom) had seen and wanted to buy a fish. So he took the leaf and gave the cat a small fish, and the cat left. It was the first of many such episodes until someone adopted the cat because it had shown itself so smart.
At first I was very skeptical, but other readers said that they had heard of or read of similar behavior among cats in their own seaside towns. So I dunno. Charming story though.

I recognize that posture as “the cold butt”— equivalent to “the cold shoulder.” Someone hasn’t been worshiping the kitty with due diligence!
