Gives you a chance to spread out that fat rear end and take it all in?
specially when there is a banana taped to the wall
Teenage boy was sitting on a bench in front of a Jackson Pollack at the MOMA in NYC. He was totally engrossed.
Very practical. Take a load off.
Looks like when my brother tried to paint our room.
Some art takes time to absorb.
With my wheelchair, I always have a comfortable seat.
Always something good!
Look deep into the painting. What was the artist trying to say. " I can throw paint all around hope I make a fortune, or at least pay the rent".
Especially the benches with a beer cooler inside.
I can tolerate a lot of art as long as I don’t have to walk or lean over to look at it.
How about an art piece of a bench with a bench sitting in front of it? Very postmodern, so its probably been done…
It does give one a chance to rest a bit, right, Aunty?
Some do take a bit more time to ponder. MOMA.
We “seasoned” citizens prefer something with back support. Some of us even snatch a nap occasionally.
Aunty, you are facing the wrong way.
Just not the same as a bar stool.
Who knew that Aunty was a Jackson Pollack fan?
As a culture vulture, I understand the reference. “Museum feet” = the pain caused by standing for hours on hard floors.
I tried to comment that it is the work of Jackson P but apparently his last name is on the ‘banned’ list.
I do too. Gives me a chance to really observe how people view the artworks. As well as get to soak up the artwork myself.
I’ve always wanted to go to MOMA but never made it and will never have the chance now that my health is so bad, plus I lack the funds to do it.
