As a schoolboy, I liked to read stories from the old Greek and Roman myths. It seems to me your months-long saga is in several ways similar to the story.of Cupid and Psyche as told by Apuleius (A.D. 124 -170). Good job.

Wow..According to Wikipedia, Mary has an interesting backstory as an apple seller in the Depression. Wonder what else she might have sold back then? Wonder if it scared her psyche and lead to her later life track?

They could also drop by Beetle Bailey and try to convince Sarge to show a bit more Love towards his soldiers. I wonder if Steve Canyon is flying the plane?

I enjoyed this story arc very much, including this concluding strip!

Second stop: The Holy See (I’m not sure the Lieutenant will want to be there when they convince those guys to unleash their long pent up passions!)

Abby and Joe went on to start The Love Boat.

A formidable opponent indeed.

This is a worthy conclusion to the saga.

I’ll miss this story. Wish it could continue in some form or another. :(
