One would have had to have power at one time to be disempowered… and I sincerely doubt that’s the case with Calvin.

Disempowered? Well, in as much as your getting free room and board and pretty much being kept alive by the adults there, yes. Yes you have been disempowered. Now do your chores.

The only difference is the length of the words.

Didn’t we all find out over the last three years just how co-dependent we all are? And it’s not toxic! It’s essential for life as we know it.

Without any co-dependency we would all have to grow our own food, dig wells, build our own houses, walk everywhere, teach ourselves to read and write etc etc.

There was a psychological fad that believed bullies were caused by poor self-esteem. After pandering to bullies for a decade, we wound up with a generation of bullies with tremendous self-esteem. Beware psychogical fads with new “buzzwords”.

Reminiscent of a typical TikTok rant today. Perhaps they all learned it from Calvin? I suppose it’s good to look up to your elders.
