Oh, about my old Vista computer – it is not connected to the internet and I had no plans to connect it. I just want to see what is on it and I sure wish I could play the games that are on that computer. And I really, really want to see if my first draft of Wanda Weird is there. Though I know I printed it (I can’t find my hard copy of it) and I’m almost certain I saved it on a disk (but it might have been the obsolete floppy and not a CD. I think it is more likely that I put it on a CD. I’m sure I did not put it on a thumb drive). But I can’t find the CD or floppy that I saved it on, if I did have it on some type of disk. I’m really bummed that I can’t get the computer to work.

That’s one smart mouse.

The mouse is smarter than you, Chesney. Go into the warehouse with that attitude and you’ll be back on the loading dock so fast your head will be spinning like a top!

Apparently Mr Mouse has a few more brain cells than he dock partner.Lots of boats out there this morning. I just watched a big Navy transport dock ship be escorted in. I can see something out on the horizon with a lot of lights but can’t tell if it’ a cruise ship or a cargo ship. Because it’ Friday, my money is on cruise.We should go hang out on either Shelter Island or Harbor Island – maybe a rich person with one of those giant yachts willgive up a ride. Think it would help if I held a glass of of champagne so I looked rich?

The mouse has the best lines.

I’m Up and Running on my new Laptop. EVERYTHING was transferred SO easily in minutes just by entering a bit of info. Looks like I even got old files and pictures I wasn’t able to access for 7 years (when I bought the ‘now broken’ Laptop). Even my daughter had never heard of such ease. Got my old HP printer synced to it in minutes.

So, Becky (laughingkitty), I’d say that new technology can surely help you find those files you want to see.

The mouse knows this will not end well for Chesney. That’s one smart rodent. If anyone needs to reflect on their shortcomings, it’s Chesney, not Annie. On another note, saw five robins, two rabbits, and a chickadee while out walking today.
