Preparing… how, exactly? Lining up new jobs to tide them over in the summer months when they won’t get paid to drive school buses?

So, in the coming weeks, we gonna have a rousing rendition of Alice Cooper’s School’s out sing-a-long!?

Aaahhhh.Happy Days are here again!!!

Most schools around here are already out for summer!

Looks like Lena is actually a doppelgänger, or a shadow creature.

Our school system we have ten buses load at the Jr. High, then go to the High School for the afternoon rides home. Last Friday 6/2 was the last day of school. All ten buses have air horns which were used all the way from the Jr High to the High school, and on down the street after the High School. Everyone knew school was out for the summer.

I actually had a great bus driver. If someone was late for the bus and was running to catch it, he waited for them. If someone was not even at the bus stop, he would drive to their home and honk the horn. Everyone liked him and gave him gifts at the end of the year. We were sad when he retired from driving.

Where is the humor?

Celebrating the end of driving out of control children back and forth.

A few weeks left? Ohio? June 4th? Schools are already out lady.

They were prepared from day one, just like the teachers…….

They look forward to summer more than the children.

What’s the big deal? Only one kid rides the bus anyway so other than Ed the bus drivers get paid for nothing.
