Pig will find a way to justify his lifestyle. Sleep a lot, eat cheese, repeat.

Life is suffering; and even more so if you’re reading books on Buddhism.

Pig, I don’t think that’s what the book meant.

Usually it takes 10 years to achieve enlightenment, but if you work really hard, it takes 20

Actually the Buddhist concept of Duḥkha, though commonly translated as “suffering,” really refers more to the “unsatisfactoriness” or “unease” of life that results from our trying to hold on to things we like, fighting against things we don’t, and our inability to accept that, try as we may, we can’t control outcomes.

No. I do not consider lying in bed for half the day a good way to live life. Life sucks, deal with it. The easy way is not always the best way.

Another way to think about suffering is that someday God will get rid of it forever – Rev. 21:4

Pig makes sense, sort of. But he may miss the wrong half!

—And, grammatically, he might have meant he was skipping half of the book. Did you ever think of that, Rat?
