I hate when people dog-ear all the pages. It’s even worse when dogs do it.

Beagle #1 digested a book once. I was packing for a trip, left the suitcase open, went to the store quickly for something, and when I came back, all that was left of that particular book (there were others) was perfect one in squares chewed neatly. She did the entire book, didn’t miss a page. It was like confetti. I guess she wanted me to stay home. Cats just sleep in the suitcase or pee in it.

I have and reread his books; met him at a book signing in Chicago, years ago. Now I live in Florida, too. I wonder what his reaction is these days to DeathSantis vs. Disney. He should start a YouTube channel!!
