With the current trend to eliminate laws against child labor, as in Arkansas recently, we’ll be able to send the kiddies down the pits before long. Ah, the good old days!

Mr. Wiggly: In the last panel, remembering his days when he could still crawl into a tunnel to watch the puny youthful humans catch lung disease. It gave Mr. Wiggly a morbid pleasure.

Alabama and some other states are allowing child labor. If Indiana isn’t there yet it will be soon. There is a reason the Indiana is known as Alabama North.

Once child labor is allowed America will finish going back to the Gilded Age. Yay!
