A nap with Buckles, what could be better than that?…..

Dogs are great nap buddies. Not being a cat owner (or owned by a cat as the case may be) I would presume based upon other comments felines are as well.

Been a very long time since I’ve had a pup, so felines have to do in its place. (Yes, I love cats too!)The male, Brat will come sit on my lap at any time I just sit down to read or watch a movie. Sissy, the female, will come lie next to me when I go to bed, or read on the bed. ash stretches out so she is leaning against me and then will look back over her shoulder with a contented look of adoration.Spoiled critters they are. Hey have me properly trained!

Yes, this is exactly the kind of ‘quality time’ that Buckles wanted to spend with Paul.

THE GOOD ENDING: Paul and Buckles put their feud aside and take a nap together in their favorite spot.

If I am reading on the sofa and put my arm on the next cushion, my dog will come over, lie down, and put the side of her head in my hand and she will happily sleep like that for as long as I can sit still. I am allowed to get up and come back and slide my hand back under her head, and she will let out a little sigh of happiness that I am back.

I just had to come back and look at the forth panel again : ) How sweet it is : )

Doesn’t matter if you’re mowing the lawn, picking up around the house, if he’s there with you, you’re spending quality time. Especially with the nap at the end…..
