Walking season is March-November for me. It all depends on the rain forecast. Oh wait a minute, this is the PNW (Pacific Northwest) and rain is something we expect. . .. . .
Be owned by Huskies and you’ll learn that walking season is year round, even when 80F plus with matching humidity. Your choice walk them until tired or let them destroy the house.
You got that right sister! Closely followed by “quick get up! it’s 3 am and 36 degrees and we gotta cover the tomato plants before the frost gets them!” season…

For me, walking season coincides with mowing season. I don’t own a rider.

It lasts a lot longer if you start walking at dawn.

Walking season is year round for me. If I can’t walk outside, I walk in a store. Now sweating season begins.

I wonder how many more years I’ll have before it becomes walker season for me.

That’s about right actually—where I live it was 39 yesterday morning, 90s called for four days from now.

Wonder if Arlo and Janis live in southeast New Mexico?

Walking season is “bug” season here in northernmost Maine. The black flies and moose flies are really a PIA!

As a Southerner, I can commiserate with Janis. It is getting warmer outside for us middle-agers, hence it is getting too hot to just go walking.

Wouldn’t there also be a second walking season in the Fall?

About 3 days/year. We go in the evenings…much more tolerable.

Maybe a rimshot would have helped! I bought my bro-in-law a “dad-joke of the day” calendar. Those jokes never seem to get dated. (Ba-dum Tisss!)
