Well, I’ll be darned…..

That’s par for the curse.

I quit gold when I was 18 forreligious reasons. Made me swear.

Now all the profanity is Facebook, Twitter, et al…

Maybe they installed cussing jars on the course and people couldn’t afford the “green” fees?

I’ve said for years that “golf” is a four-letter word that usually results in other four-letter words!

I noticed the guilty look on Cosmo’s ‘face’ ! ! !

It is a game played with a little ball and a stick called “aw $hit”

British comic Rowan Atkinson (Blackadder, Mr. Bean) gave a very serious speech against laws to limit speech saying in effect people are too easily offended. And it is only getting worse as someone files a complaint against another person who said something that some other party might at some point find offensive.

The solution, he said, was not less offensive language but more, so people become immured to it the way a child becomes immune to illness by levels of exposure.

That could be it.

Golf Is a 4 letter word!

Uh.. the opposite is true.

Many people are swearing off cursing.

Maybe to the Navy’s recruiting problems as well?

My brother, a golf pro, died last August. So there might be something to that theory.

What about amateurfanity?

Golf spelled backwards is flog…

“flog – verb

1. beat (someone) with a whip or stick as punishment or torture."

As the golfer will flog himself after drop in sand trap…

Both, obviously, for the betterment of the world.

No one under 35 can go even one sentence without swearing . . .

Now they let it all hang out online.
