This is how our HOA “prunes” our beautiful, flowering shrubs before hurricane season. They just did this and boy, does my yard look ugly.

It wouldn’t be much of stretch to believe this is how Bonsai trees got started.
Something has been killing off my dwarf juniper shrubs. I think I might restart some of them inside as bonsai.
Probably just as well, it looked dead anyway.
Yeah, this is why I never learned how to cultivate rose bushes.
