I had a rescue who was afraid of everything. She needed grooming, and she did not do well with groomers. I finally bought my own clippers. I started with putting the entire box on the floor. Then taking the clippers out of the box, still on the floor. Then petting her with the clipper handle, with no power. It went well, and eventually she learned to enjoy the “back massage.” However, she only accepted it when I sat on the kitchen floor to groom her, and when she had enough, she just walked away, tons of fur flying everywhere. I have no clue what breed(s) she was. She looked like a 50 lb Yorkie, sort of. A great dog, easy to train, well behaved, and loved everyone. Well, except groomers. She tolerated them, but clearly was terrified, and was more relaxed when I did it. She’s the only dog I have ever had who needed to see a groomer. I still miss her. It’s nice to see these dogs enjoying their spa time.

So, Shawm is next with the fade haircut. Totally will ruin his look.

Shawn, after you get your hair cut maybe you will be able to see more than Sirius’s hairdo.
