My writing projects mean combing through online misinformation every day. For now ChatGPT and the others sugarcoat errors with authority and spew them with impunity. Eventually AI will prove a useful tool for communication, especially considering how poor language skills are for some (and I’m not talking ESL; American education is not what it once was). But garbage in, garbage out. For now.
