When I retired, I figured I’d pretty much have the neighborhood quiet and to myself (everybody at work, kids in school). After this stupid panicdemic and other nonsense, my neighbors are mostly home or coming and going all day. Gotta watch out all day to keep from getting run over on my mid-day strolls. The local parks have working-age adults staring at their phones wandering around with dogs on and off leash during normal working hours; and children who don’t attend classes anymore during school hours.

Taking it in easy steps is all very well, but it’s going to be a problem when he has that desk out on the highway.
