They arrive at the hospital only to be greeted at the check in desk by Frank Nelson.

Poor Joel. It is very difficult for Joel to have to keep up all his work to be kind and help others…. especially when Rufus is rather aggravating…. even though he is injured, so I have to try to be accepting that Rufus likely cannot really help being even more annoying than usual.

I am glad Joel has his jug and pipe. He will deserve a bit of both by the time this trip to the hospital happens.

I am also glad that Joel has Becky… She is at least a good friend to Joel!

I like the first panel.They’re on the outskirts of downtown in a part of town we haven’t seen before. I don’t think we’ve ever SEEN the town hospital(Chipper has his own office).
