I love the Gold and coin adverts! I sorta got into them. The only people that made money were the sellers. AND don’t get me going on Bitcoin!!!

I was a stock broker (real crappy stock broker) for a while. Now whenever I see an exchange of assets I ask for a commission. My friends laugh….

Brokers are like lawyers, they are the only ones guaranteed to make money from the two parties.

There are those who make a living trading, the odds of being one of them are somewhere around the ones for winning the lottery.

Yup, my son works at Morgan Stanley; but even they had a round of layoffs.

Makes me glad I don’t have enough money to invest.

If I could quantify two human qualities: fear and greed: I’d OWN Wall Street.

All I know, is the brokers manipulate if someone sneezes…

Yes, it’s a Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered Market. Except when it’s not, of course.

Poor people work for money. Rich people have money. Bankers keep money. Brokers make money. Madoff faked money.

yep… the stock market is just gambling and the only consistent winners are “the house”… and when they lose they have the government (aka us) bail them out.

The stock market makes more sense when you realize it doesnt make logical sense and is emotional driven.

My best man was a commodity trader on the floor in Chicago, said it was insane, I think at one point he had a nervous breakdown, but didn’t quit, made way too much money…

One of my favorite history lessons came from a teacher who pointed out that there were a lot of people who joined the gold rush only to go broke, but the people who really did well were the ones selling them supplies!
