When my son was little, one time he did something a bit careless, and I said he should be more careful. He replied, “I was”! We still laugh at that one.
Sometimes my dog will go off schedule and request an extra treat or larger dinner. I will think if she has been extra active, and almost always she has been. I am not always hungry for the exact same amount, and I can’t expect her to be. Maybe, just maybe, that is Opal’s logic. Nah.
